Baruch Username and Baruch Email
We have automated the creation of faculty and staff Baruch accounts (Baruch username) with our Account Management System (AMS). New faculty and staff will receive an email with instructions to claim their account within 24-48 business hours after personnel data is entered into CUNYfirst by Human Resources. It is critical that you complete all paperwork and provide all data that Human Resources asks for in a timely fashion, as we cannot enable accounts without that information and verification of employment eligibility.
Please note that as of May 3rd, 2022, faculty/staff email is available through Microsoft 365 access from your CUNY Login.
Once you follow the instructions sent to your email and your account is created, you can access your Baruch email by visiting https://outlook.com and using your CUNY Login to log in.
Note that the requirement for obtaining a Baruch Username and Baruch Email address is having an active record in CUNYfirst. If you don’t have an active record in CUNYfirst, kindly contact Human Resources for assistance.
Your Baruch username is the account used to access resources such as:
- changes to your directory info
- your office pc
- the virtual private network (VPN)
- the college’s wifi
CUNY Login is used for all other access at Baruch and CUNY, including:
