    • To make an internal call
      Dial 4-digit extension

    Note:   The College has two exchanges:  (312) for the North Campus; (660) for the South Campus.  However, only 4-digits need be dialed for inter-campus calls.

    • To make an external call
      Dial 9 + number

    Useful Phone Information

    • While call is on the line, press Trans/Conf key
    • Dial the other extension
    • Announce the caller
    • Press the Release key or hang up to transfer the call.  To retrieve the call and return to the caller, press the Cancel key

    Conference Calls (maximum of 6 parties)

    • Dial the first party and establish connection
    • Press the Trans/Conf key
    • Dial the next party and establish connection
    • Press the Trans/Conf key
    • Repeat until all parties are included

    Pick up the receiver and press the Redial key 

    1. On your phone (do not pick up handset)
    2. Press SuperKey
    3. PhoneBook? Press No
    4. Call Forwarding? Press Yes
    5. Always? Press Review
    6. Press Change then Press Program
    7. To: Enter   4 digit extension  OR 9 + 1 + ten-digit telephone number
    8. Press Save
    9. Press Change
    10. Press TurnOn
    11. Press SuperKey

    1. Press SuperKeyPhoneBook? Press No
    2. Call Forwarding? Press Yes
    3. Always? Press Review
    4. Press Change
    5. Press TurnOff
    6. Press SuperKey

    1. Press the Superkey
    2. Press the No key until “Personal Keys?” appears
    3. Press the Yes key
    4. Press a speed dial button that is not a line appearance
    5. Press the Change key
    6. Press the Yes key
    7. Enter the extension #
    8. Press the Save Key

    1. Press the Superkey
    2. Press the No key until “Personal Keys?” appears
    3. Press the Yes key
    4. Press a speed dial button that is not a line appearance
    5. Press the Change key
    6. Press the Yes key
    7. Enter 9+ the number you want to save
    8. Press the Save Key

    Using the Phone Book Feature (for Model 4025 and 4150 phones)

    1. Press the Phonebook key
    2. Press the appropriate button on the keypad until the first letter of the last name is shown in the display
    3. Press the à key
    4. Press the appropriate button on the keypad until the second letter of the last name is shown in the display
    5. Press the Lookup key
    6. If necessary, press the Next key until you see the correct name
    7. Press the Call key.  The system will automatically call for you.

    i.e., to search for Charles Darwin’s extension:

    1. Press Phonebook
    2. Enter the Desired Name:  D (key 3 DEF)
    3. A (key 2 ABC)
    4. R (key 7 PQRS) continue to press the 7 key (3 times) until you reach the letter R

    If the name is part of the Baruch directory, DARWIN will appear.
