A Document Camera (DC) is mainly used for projecting printed material such as a page in a book. Most Document Cameras currently installed work best with font 14 points or greater. If you are using small font, you need to zoom in on the page in order to get a sharp image.
If you have not used an LCD Projector with your laptop before you may need to request tech assistance. If you are using a Macintosh Laptop, you need to bring the VGA adapter that came with your laptop. Mobile devices that have a VGA adapter can also be connected to the VGA cable/port provided.
All PCs have a CD/DVD-ROM drive with Internet Access. Most should play DVDs, but occasionally a DVD will be incompatible with the computer. If you intend to play a DVD in class, it is recommended that you test it first. All PCs accept USB Flash Drives.

A ceiling mounted projector is used to view the PC, Laptop (via VGA or HDMI Port), DVD Player and Document Camera images (if installed). The image is displayed on either a manual pull down projector screen or an electronic drop down projector screen. Audio is presented with overhead speakers.

The KEY to access the locked drawer for the wireless lavalier microphone is available at the Newman Library Circulation Desk on the 2nd flr. Batteries for the wireless microphones are obtained from your respective Dean’s Office.
